Getting TomTom maps to work?
 

I just got TomTom on my touch and i'm not able to get the maps working. i have put the map file in with my sd files and it's still not pulling up any maps. i'm using the new diamond rom if that means anything. please help. thanks

The map files need to be in a directory called "TomTom" on your SD card.

no they don't. I have mine in a dir called Noth America on my SD card. I think the problem may be that you maps are not registered. Contact Tomtom to register them.

It depends what version you are running. If it is TT6 - it puts 6-7 folders on the root of the storage card. When I upgraded to TT7 the only folders on my Storage card are the 'Voices Directory' and the 'North_America_720.1803' directory.

it is ttn7, but the only folder it put on was the voices. i don't have another folder. i have a main folder "tomtom", in that folder it contains " SD card files" and "keygen", keygen has files Meta and tt7_keygen. SD card files only contains voices.

Please refrain from discussion anything along the lines of 'keygen's as they are typically related to Warez. This site has a very strict policy and will not tolerate a discussion on illegally downloaded software.

sorry about that. my buddy copied it from his sd card. didn't know the orgin of that. now i know why it might not work. thanks

tomtom.com currently the only real version supported for the touch is 6.75 from tomtom...and that will be the only thing i can tell you...
