XV6900 When is GPS Available
 

Anyone know when VZNavigator or Verizon GPS image will be available? I've used the various rom images on my phone and never got the GPS to work on a stable matter and caused other issues such as not receiving messages and calls. I was able to replace my phone with a new one. Other than updating the radio and installing a ROM is there any other way to activate the GPS on the XV6900?

Short answer, No
The radio has to be 3.xx.xx for GPS to work.

Thanks. Just curious, is there any compatibility issues with the radio being upraded to what verzion radio supports?

if you open your ie and go to the verizon page, vz navigator is now available on a monthly pay basis.

i haven't been able to get any of the other gps programs to detect a signal since downloading the latest radio and rom, pm this'll be a last resort.
