What's the shortcut path to dial a # out of Contacts?
 

I'm messing around with rlToday, and I'd like to set up a button that will open up the phone app and dial my wife, just like it does when I hit the shortcut to her # on the touchflo cube. Anybody know the path to map this?

create a shortcut for makecall in the windows dir and put her number in after it..

makecall.exe 123-456-7890

I use simple iphone and have a page dedicated just to quick dials

Hmm, I don't find makecall.exe on my phone at all. WM6, right?

cprog.exe seems to pull up the dialer, but I can't figure out how to pass a number to it.

You can download and install makecall.exe from http://www.ultimatelaunch.de/smartut...utilities.html (it's part of the smartutilities package).

Then create a shortcut to it and edit the shortcut properties adding a space then the phone number to the end of the path.

This is out of the Sprint rom and contains makephonecall.exe and makeVmail.exe

makephonecall_makevmail.zip

Unzip them and copy them to your devices \windows directory.

Hmm, when I put in a number it tells me it can't find 'makephonecall.exe 1234567890'. Now if I just put in makephonecall.exe with no number it pulls up the dialer.

I use the simple iphone theme, as file it's

\windows\makephonecall.exe

as command line its

123456789

I have 8 speed dials on the screen using this method and works fine

of course don't include the "-== ==-" stuff...
