Is SPB SHELL the best? Any other options that come close???
 

My trial period just ended with Shell, and i do love it, but is there any other options i should look at before i buy it? Also, which version should i get? Thanks.

i recommend looking into WAD2 themes if you haven't yet... those have endless possibilities and you can create your own theme with it... its really the best option if you wants handfuls of different theme options... Completely different themes, not just different colors or icons like shell.

It's the best. Especially when you find a theme that you enjoy the most (there are a lot out there).

You can check out Winterface by Vito, it's interesting and has potential but as it is right now, MS is better, at least for me.

Throttlelauncher gets my vote. I tried SPB & WAD2 for skin for diamond theme and they both seemed to have lacked one feature or another for my personal taste. Throttlelauncher hit the sweet spot for me.

i agree if you want the diamond theme, TL has the best fluidity... but if you want custom themes and make your own, my vote really goes to WAD2

i just like my screen empty, i do not have have any plugs in for the today screen, i disabled them in the control panel and just the standard htc them and pic. plane and simple, i found that using these types of programs is like using windows atop of windows why bother?

why bother? are you a mogul owner? sucks not having enough memory to fully customize to your personal liking...
