Alltel Internet - Sprint Touch

Alright. I have a sprint touch that i unlocked, changed the MSL to 000000, flashed to the official alltel rom and added it to an alltel account. voice/text works, but im wondering why the default settings that are on the oem alltel rom are not allowing me to go online with my data package..any help?
also did *228 and it said programming succesful. alltel tech support didn't do **** for me.

try this, i am not sure if it will work or not, but first go into ##778 and wride down your MIN and MDN, one will be your number, the other will be clsoe to your number. from there flash over to nsfan 6.1 for sprint. when it loads up and before it goes through the customize, press the stylus into the reset button.

Restart the phone and go to the programs and the folder ## phone codes. One of those in there is a reverse service, and it will reset all of that. So find what that one is, and reset the phone. this is why you need your min and mdn numbers because they will be reset. this will also allow for a new warranty date code.

now flash again to the officail alltel rom, and this time let everything run. this should put everything back that you are missing. and then you should be good to go.

I know it sounds like a lot of work but it shouldnt be to much. and also i am not 100% sure that this will work. but i read about it on xda a while back, so i am just passing along the word. give it a try and let me know if it does work.

type in your MSL and click ok

Click PRL
Hit Browse and select the PRL
Hit ok
hit right soft key and hit ok or enter
