Windows Live - Sync Multiple Folders Only Getting Headers
 

Anyone with a 6.1 GPS ROM use the Windows Live app to push Hotmail and sync multiple folders (not just the Inbox)?

I'm using one of OMJ's ROM and I just tried this for the first time. In my other folders its only pulling the header information (from, subject, etc) and the body is blank and the size is showing 0kb.

If anyone has this working, what ROM are you using?

I'm closing my thread now, but I'll post the solution in case someone needs it in the future. I found it in a post over at XDA:

If you tap and hold on each folder you can then select 'folder options'
then in the drop down box you can select 'get full copy of message' and also 'only display messages from the last X days'
Do this for any folder you want to synchronise and you're good to go
When you go back to these options at a later time it would appear that the settings you chose arent sticking, this is infact misleading as all it is doing is putting the options back to default by appearance, but clicking 'ok' after setting each folder does infact stick the setting.

Nevermind, it still isn't working. It looks like that's the option I need, but its still only downloading the headers :(

Alright, it works fine for new messages but not older ones. Even though in the Folder Options I unchecked the box for "Only Retrieve Messages From the last xx days". It shows all of the headers for the old emails but the body is blank. If I move a message to one of those folders it works fine. I would really like to have my old emails viewable from the phone.

maybe you could foward them to yourself (although that'd be a PITA)

I figured out a way to make it work for the old messages. In my desktop Outlook I had the Windows Live Connector so I moved all emails from Hotmail into a local PST file then moved them all back. Then when I sync'd from the phone it pulled them all.
