Switching Carriers

I may be switching carriers to US Cellular from Sprint (not by choice) and I want to keep my Touch.

I've never done this before; so do I have any hope of switching the phone over? I've seen a couple of people have US Cellular "dumps" but that is basically all I've come up with as US Cellular roms are concerned.

My current phone has 2.31, WiMo 6.1 and whatever Radio came with Sprint's latest upgrade.

Sorry if this is a repeat, I searched but came up inconclusive!
