Screen stopped responding.

I installed schaps Advanced confiv 3 yesterday and was playing around with the Pressure sensitivity, I never soft reset. I uninstalled Evernotes as well. Went to bed, woke up to the Touch alarm...used the screen to shut it off. Then at breakfast, maybe 10 miniutes later I softreset for some reason and now the touch screen doesn't work. I tried setting back the settings from the utility...MyMobiler is handy for that...but still nothing. Any idea's? What the hell happened?

Might try this reg edit setting, might havde to play around the the value though.

HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings
Change DWord value for FingerPressure to 9000

This edit is reported to improve both the sensitivity of finger scrolling and its smoothness/choppiness. It is also reported to improve the sensitivity of other touch screen functions.

Ya I tried that...Didn't work. Are there any other places it is? I'm assuming that is all it did.

That's the only place I can think of. You might have to hard reset

FOr future reference, invest in SPB CLone (or any other app that will clone the entire phone and it's settings).
You try something new, and it screws up, hard reset won't seem like a daunting task. Just restore from that cloned image and it's all good to go.

Good idea. Is that the best one? Are there others?

Holy crap $300? I'll deal with reinstalling stuff.

Ok spb backup would work.

A hard reset worked. Sucks. It has to be a software issue.

I've lots of problems after using Schap's Advanced Config - biggest was that I couldn't answer the phone.

Advanced Config looks great, but seems to cause assorted problems. There are various threads here and xda-developers discussing this.

I think its a program to be very cautious with, and (obviously my personal opinion) do not think it should be included in ROMs posted here.

I had that problem too once. Until i changed some setting back. But I love it for making the powersetting customizations.

This happened to me too. I had to hard reset...actually I ended up just flashing a new ROM.
