alltel touch, mms not working after upgrade
 

my mms is not working on wm6.1. ive searched for it but found nothing, it says that it can not send the message. any help?

What Custom ROM are you using for your 6.1? Try this one, It has working MMS on alltel

When I uploaded DHarveys alltel rom I had to make sure the server settings were right for Alltel mms. Still did not work correctly so I callled alltel tech support told them mms was not working and they reset me in the system somehow and everything has worked perfect since. Am able to send picture and video and have working GPS.

I was having the same problem this weekend. I'm running DHarveys ROM too but don't send picture messages that often. I called alltel and and here's the settings they gave me that are working:
Gateway: mms.alltel.com
Port: 80
Server: http://mms.alltel.com/servlets/mms
Size: ~300K (on my phone 292K was the closest)
WAP: 2.0

Make sure you can send text messages, and connect to the Internet. If this doesn't work, call them after you make the changes to have them reset your phone in the message system as u2gator said.

well where in wm6.1 do i change the mms settings? its not under messaging

If you're using the default MMS program, click menu -> Pics/Video Configuration -> Servers tab -> Select "Default" (or whatever it might be named) in the listbox. That should get you into the settings.

yeah i tried that to no luck my mms still isnt working...so i guess i need to call alltel and try that route

Thanks, Cahl. I was having the same problem with my alltel touch mms. Your configuration solved the problem!!
