HELP:Relock sprint touch AkA(vogue)
 

ok got 3 black spots on screen and going to referb my phone . i have been confused on the threads as to how . i used imcokes 2.31 to unlock and falshed most till i got dharveys been using his rom .

ne way can someone run down the relock process or thread me to a how to and go back to 6.1 offical from htc . i got the DLs saved . what i think i should do is relock with cokes 2.31 and then flash offical 6.1 rom ? im slow but ill cautch up .. been reading many posts . and playing with ppls cabs but still want to clairify how to as i got lots of garbled info going on in my cells so please help me make the 2+2=4 right now it ='s 5 !/2

i need to relock before i take it back thou as to preseve our abilty to be creative on our devices without sprint intervention . so id still like to lock but i ll flash 6.1 now then again need to relock

Flash the official ROM. That's all you need to do.

Do you see 2.31.CoKe in bootloader mode? To access bootloader, hold down the camera button and reset device with the stylus. Release the reset and continue holding the camera button until you see a tricolor bootloader screen.

From what I have seen in the past, any time I have flashed an official rom (from the HTC or Sprint sites) it automatically relocks the phone. I have flashed official roms back over custom roms and then used insurance to get a replacement (more than once) and never had any issues with the insurance company.

Once you flash the official rom check the bootloader like walla explained and you should be good.

the problem is that, it still shows iCokeman 2.31 in the bootloader.

I've done the following steps:

1.) Load offical rom
2.) load iCokeman (in an attempt to relock)
3.) found out the boot loader still indicates icokeman 2.31

How do you load the original bootloader back in?

hey im new to this site and I was wondering if you can help me out. I have an HTC Vogue with cricket and my touch screen craped out today, not even my buttons work, I some how got it to go to task manager and the buttons worked but the touch screen didnt, If I hard reset it will I have to reflash it to cricket again?? thanks in advance guys

I'm having the same problem. My phone appears to be still in coke2.31. Been searchin with no results. Anyone?

Its simple run .40 unlocker and then run stock ROM.
