not receiving sms on time
 

Hey guys, i am not sure if anyone else is having this problem or if anyone can help. My phone is not receiving sms's when the screen it turned off, when i click the top button to turn on the screen, then i will receive all the missed messages, and it says time received as being the time i turned the screen on, any feedback would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure if I am having the exact same problem as you are... But over the last couple of weeks I have had random delays in receiving texts and MMS. At one point, a text was sent to me on Friday afternoon and I got it Sunday night. I found that if I call my voicemail (*86) it would push all of the messages to my phone. It is an intermitant problem (somedays it happens, sometimes not). I thought it was a problem with Verizon, however now after reading your issue; perhaps the reason I wasn't receiving texts and MMS was due to the screen being off (had to turn it on to call voicemail... hahaha). I'd be interested to see if other are having similar issues, and if they have a possible solution.

It is an intermitant issue for me as well, this only happened that one day and i always have my screen off. not sure why it acted that way even when i did a soft reset. IF anyone else can shed some light it would be greatly appreciated

i've encountered the same sporadic behavior. i havent noticed any sort of trend/pattern related to the screen being off, however i noticed the following once or twice:

Error Code 10
PPP Connection Error

happens on sprint too. so random too.
