how to edit out SPRINT in today screen
 

have new rom 6.1 on sprint touch query is there a registry edit to change the sprint above the time in the TODAY SCREEN from SPRINT to a DAY to align and change with the date across from it ??? trying to keep 6.1 as basic as near to original as possible. THANKS

Not for dynamic information, that I am aware of. You can use a free app called Personlizer to change the carrier name to something else, but it must stay constant (my Touch says "rainfreak" where ever it used to say "Sprint").

It can be changed in the registry, however it will constantly change itself back, everytime it gets an update from a tower, your service state changes, etc. The only way I have ever gotten it to stay changed to what I want is with Personlizer.

I attached a copy below, so you can play with it. Maybe the developer will be able to help you get it to display the day of the week...
