Weird Text message Problem
 

So last night i was texting my friend for a while. Then all of a sudden she asked me why i keep sending a certain text to her. I told her i wasnt. She told me that she had recieved 16 text messages of the same text. Prior to texting her Installed HARVEYS internet fix and the MMSMESSAGE HACK. But that was way before this certain text. So I talk to her this afternoon and come to find out she has been sent this same text message for 46 times. She called AT&T and they said it wasnt her phone. SO... I find out that the certain text was in my outbox, I tried deleting and it wouldnt delete. I tryed doing a soft reset to see if that would get it to go away and still nothing. I ended up having to DELETE all my text messages in my inbox and in the sent box. She said it stoped, This was just really weird. Wanted to tell everyone and wanted to see if anyone knew what caused it.

mine has been doing that for awhile. it seems to send the messages when i do a soft reset.

a company(maybe spam) might be sending you a text that your phone cant read. maybe hmtl

Mine started today and Ive been using Dharveys black vista for VZW for awhile now without this issue. I had to reset the pic/video configurations because it just stopped rec/sending pix/vids and upon soft reset, she got like 15 of a previous message I had sent awhile back....had her pull her battery in her phone (razr v3m) and it stopped....I also deleted my in/out boxes....

When I upgraded my roommate's touch to the newest ROM it sent out all the messages in her drafts box, and my phone was doing the same as yours when they switched on the EVDO in my area but I took it to the sprint store and they sent some update to my phone and it hasnt done that since.

I have the new official sprint rom and i notice that when i soft reset that the messages magicaly appear back in my phone that i deleted. Also a while a go i upraded my phone to a new rom , backedup with PIM. When i went to load it back, some how all my contacts got all the old text messages from over a month old. one got like 300. that was messed up mess
