I check Bell Tech Board today

it says in 08/08 HTC put Touch ROM by mistake, it not supposed to be availble yet :twisted: no time line when new ROM will be availble :twisted:

just check HTC website, download link is been taking off

Updated 08/18: it's official now, version is same, not sure if they change anything

I'm glad I downloaded it when I had the chance... Seems to be working fine for me except it goes to 1X more often than before. The good thing is that it goes back to EV after a while.

I'm glad I got it when I did.......I was wondering if anyone is going to modify it...add internet sharing and remote desk top and more to the rom?

a representative told me that if i had it installed "it would bad, and [that] you will have to bring it in for repairs"...

installed it, let it customize then immediately put my cooked rom back on and enjoy quick gps locks, rev a and beauty of customized rom :D

Started building a custom rom based on it yesterday, won't be due out for some time though, I've been spoiled by ppckitchen.org and I'm rusty/slow going back to a "manual" kitchen.

Currently focused on removing extra stuff I don't want, when that is done and it ( hopfully ) tests OK, adding in my OEMs should proceed pretty fast.

I just logged onto the site to see for myself and I find that the link is back now. All seems as it was before they took it off. Maybe they got a lot of great praise about this ROM that they put it back. Yeah, I know, wishful thinking. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

even the other backdoor has been taken off?.. i havent had any issue with it... may be its because they wanted to *** the music and tv hooked up coz i found it weird they had it in the rom when it says available soon?!

whatever the case, the new version should be coming soon better than ever!
