Background, why is it not clear?
 

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere. I did a couple different searches
and read through a couple of threads, but still couldn't find the exact cause
or fix for my problem...

Every time I set a background in 'Today' it comes out gray-ish. I'm not sure if
it's the background or the 'Today elements' but I can't find anything that says
something like 'transparent.' Is there a setting in HTC Customizer or in Today
that I'm missing?

I have seen something like this...Check StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today
Is the checkbox at the bottom checked where it says "Use this picture as the background"? Looks like you may have an image there...

I don't think there's a setting without 3rd party programs

I use resco photo viewer and it has transparancy settings for backgrounds, but idk otherwise

Actually just found it. I go to My Pictures, select the picture, and there is
a menu option to make it the background. When you do that, you can set the transparency level.

Seems like something that the Today program should do when you select 'use this picture as the background' but oh well.

Use file explorer open the pic then select use as background, then you can set the transparency.
