New ROM w/GPS and WM6.1
 

It works great, the GPS only takes about 40-65 secs to find the satellites w/Google Maps.

Warning, SPB backups will screw up the phone/contacts portion. I am going to try it after all is installed. My backup info is lost.

Prior to loading in new apps. PIE works well. The connection ends correctly. No need to enter Comm Manager to shut off the data connection.
After I installed some apps. Now I have to shut the connection manually.

After quiting an internet application. There still appears to be a connection.
To stop this, my temp fix is go to comm mgr and deselect data.
