Can't Get EVDO because I can't change HDR User ID...

so I tried upgrading and let sprint cuzts run, but I've gotten everything back with everyone's help EXCEPT EVDO.
I can get 1x but not EVDO!

1. EPST won't let me change my HDR AN AUTH from hexesn@hcm.sprint.com
2. QPST won't write to my phone because I keep getting errors (see below)

-Did DMU reset (that got me internet from no internet)
-##DIAG-HDR says an/aaa authentication 2 = failed
-also ppp id/pw are blank (normal in other carriers, normal in verizon?)

1. why cant i edit my hdr auth in epst?
2. what am i doing wrong with qpst?
3. does verizon have a ##786# equivalent? and would this work?

i can't find these answers ANYWHERE, plz help. thanks in advance.

If you cant change it in the epst you can change it in QPST. Check your NAI and DUN NAI under M.IP tab in qpst and change to yourmdn@vzw3g.com. Also a tab or two to the right of the M.IP tab will have a sub tab for your ppp user names and a tab for the un and an username these need to be changed too.

thanks. yea my nai settings are fine. its just the hdr an auth, that's weird isn't it? lol. also, so verizon does use PPP settings? i think i read that some carriers dont. thanx for the help tho. ill try qpst asap.

what should me ppp rm and um settings should be? i tried to just write the an but i got an can't write ppp error if i put in mdn@vzw3g.com for my um login then i get a cant write hdr an auth id error. wtf! lol.

also in the um tab, the user id box is black with red X's around it, that sure looks scary... what does that mean?

**EDIT** if i leave all the forms blank an and um the progress bar almost finishes but then i get an error can't write nv_sms_cd_parms_1[0]... so im just gonna go ahead and wait to hear back from yall before i go any further, lol, cuz i really dont know what im doing (qpst is an amazing program tho, srsly). **
