Will it load a more stripped sprint rom with no bs... just wondering.. i like the stock rom but its got too much bs i don't use cube, on demand, sprint nav, music store...
and yes I have been running the official .4 rom..

Of those you listed, which ones do we need, that we can just run ourselves after install?

As it is, I just remove the link to navigation in \windows\start menu and in \programs (as I don't use it). I don't imagine we'd gain much of anything (space/performance wise) if we didn't install ALL of those apps @ boot, no?

The only one you will need need immediately after flashing a new Radio is ppst.exe...All the above otherwise is bloatware...I include all of them in my rom (installion disabled...), but ZERO of them are necessary, imho, even ppst.exe is useless after you have upgraded your radio and let it run after that flash...

Well, I've actually been looking for a way to remove all that junk (without having to flash another rom, if possible), but all of the files are read-only so it wont let me delete them. I've tried so many roms,but I can't find one that I like, so I just keep sticking with the stock sprint one, otherwise I'm just not satisifed (even then I'm still not), lol.

Do my tutorial on Adding/Removing Programs... Decompile the stock rom, delete the ..\OEM\OperatorPKG_PT directory, rebuild it and flash...That would get rid of all that junk. :)

There are a few good clean roms that you might like... or have you tried most of them?

Ok ok....if anyone knows how to edit the official rom it's me.....the PPST.exe is not in the ROM until you run the PPST cab first....then the .exe shows up those 2 are the only 2 you must run

I've tried roms by OMJ, Vetvito, and Dharvey. I'm fine with the stock one to be honest, but theres just some stuff I'd like gone gone, without having to actually dis-assemble it and re-assemble it myself.
