I have a XV6900 with a crack in the case
 

I have read several posts which indicate HTC Touch has a defect which results in the case cracking. I've also read on this and other forums a mixed response from Verizon - some received replacement some reps claimed no knowledge of a problem blames mishandling thus not their fault.
Has anyone seen/or have a copy of a service bulletin from Verizon regarding this issue?

Any concerns with having HTC Home Customiser or Cootek Touch Pal on my phone when I go to VZW store?

I just noticed today that I have 3 of these cracks after a month.

Some are able to get replacements and some not. I'm not going to bother because it sounds like the they're all going to crack.

But I did find this interesting. For $70 you can replace the whole outside with a new black cover. Although it would appear that it's got the "Sprint" label.
