OK, here's the weird thing...I have my phone set to "roaming only". I just changed it to "automatic" and it connected with no problem. When I went back to roaming, I got the error again. This has never been a problem before........

ah well now at least you have a solution, keep it set to automatic.

Besides running IOTA (might not work) or taking it to Sprint (they may say they can't garantee a signal or net access while in roaming), I am plum out of ideas.
