Backing up once all programs are installed
 

Hey guys i have seen many threads regarding backups, but not sure which will do exactly what i want. Which backup program do you recommend for me to accomplish the following. Once all my 3rd party programs are installed and running smooth, I would like to backup the entire phone with contacts and all the other goodies i install. If at a later date the unit starts freezing and having problems which is most likely going to eventually happen, i can easily restore with the handy backup i created with all my programs on there rather than istalling them one by one? All suggestions are greatly appreciated, and i thank you in advance.

i used sktools, for the exact same reason got me a fresh backup in place for when i might need it got it stored on my sd card in case i have to hard reset it on the move

I use PPCpimBackup its been pretty reliable

Sprite Backup has saved me many times.

I was not aware that this program will also back up 3d party apps - OP said that this was one of the things he wanted to do, in addition to backing up contacts, etc.

Personally I use spb backup. The newest version has an option to restore to a new ROM. I have not tested this yet, but nice to know it's available.

I use Spb Backup, probably the best backup tool I've used. It will backup everything in about 5 minutes. You can restore on a different ROM or device, and it will completely retore it, even to the point that your PC will recognize the device as it did before.
