Internal vs Memory Card - what's faster?

Hi,

what is faster, internal memory or a 2008 micro SD card by kingston?
I asking because I was wondering whether I should install apps onto the device or onto the external memory card.

What kind of memory does the Sprint HTC Touch use?
The Touch is over a year old, so how does it compare to a brand new 2GB Micro SD Card by Kingston?

Thank You

The internal mem should be faster, when it is on the card (especially a big one) it would have longer read times. Do a soft reset and use explorer to look at a big folder on the card and then look at a similar sized folder on the phone and see how long it takes to populate.

I see. Have there been done any actual benchmark tests to see how much of a difference it makes?

a thing to keep in mind internal gets fulll bandwidth and will always be faster since the sd reader can't do the same.
