PPST update is not for Verizon users and can negatively impact performance. I would hard reset and hope for the best.

Hard reset won't change the effects of PPST.... as for the banner, it can be done by ppst or through qpst service programmer.

My banner is Tobey:)

So after updating to the new GPS/Rev-A rom, my phone says that I am on "preferred system" and I can cannot connect to the internet.

does anyone know about this or how to fix it? I have searched for a post about it, found the post, however, am unable to find that post again. if anyone knows of a fix, let me know.

Update: was on the phone with verizon last friday, monday and finally tuesday.. they just gave in and told me to get a new phone. Since its less than 30 days since i got the phone, they said I can have it for free. too bad they didn't know that I had already got a free replacement. 3rd times a charm!

Rev-A/GPS is working wonderfully on DHarvey's BlackVista Rom.
