Warcraft 2 on vogue
 

i cant get Warcraft 2 working on the vogue
i get a blinking flashing background showing part of a sketched archer and music playing
another one i tried it seemed to load a map but it was to big like the vga version seeing half the menu and such even though it should be the QVGA version

if anyone wants to help who has it working please pm

wow, i didnt know they had warcraft for the ppc, im gonna check it out later. I will let you know if i have any problems with my install

Ya it runs fine. I've played it for a year or so but I cannot save any games because we don't have a hardware keyboard. On my old Treo 700wx I could save but not now.

Does anyone know any workarounds for that?

Yes you can.
If you follow the link posted by hueman84, n0p's page tells you how...
Under the FAQ -
"Q: How to save?
A: 1) Create in folder save some empty files - save1.sav, save2.sav, etc. Use them then saving/loading."

I just haven't figured out how to remap the hardware buttons to have a 'right-click', i think that's the only thing missing...

Haha that's awesome! I have been wondering about old DOS games running on the Touch because 320x240 was a standard resolution back then. The only problem is many games would be hard, if not impossible to play without buttons, but some games that are mainly mouse controlled should work fine. What we need is a portable bluetooth control pad...
