How do i improve my GPS locks
 

i am running the newest alltel stock rom

in gps viewer the satellites just flash(red), but never locks (blue)

i followed this tutorial - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24925

did i miss anything? is there anything i can add?

Load the latest DHarvey ROM for Alltel. I have never had GPS work consistently, until I loaded his ROM.

i was running dharvys newest alltel rom and i didnt get any gps at all. so i went back to stock.

I have noticed that at times I have to "prime the pump" with a program like HOLUX GPS Viewer before using Google Maps.
