Disabling the "Boot up" Sound
 

Hello Everybody,

My phone is the Touch and my provider is Sprint.

I looked in the forums but can't find my answer.

All I'm trying to figure out is how to disable the sound that my phone makes whenever it resets. I have it back itelf up to my SD card in the middle of the night and when it's done backing up, it resets--that sound wakes me up every night. I dont' want to just shut off all the sounds when I go to bed because then I won't hear my alarm clock.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Does that cab overwrite the phoneon.wav sound or make the registry change?

just registry changes....it was made by someone in that same thread you posted
