worth it to update to the official rom?
 

I have a custom rom that was from the leaked sprint rom, radio version 3.37.15 rom verion 3.02.651.2 and the date 4/23/08. It runs great, never locks up or anything. Would there be any advantage to switching to the new official rom?

I tried messing with my registry after using the leaked one and ended up having to do a hard reset (just stupidity on my part) and figured "what the hell?," so I did the "official" one and can tell no difference whatsoever. I know that probably doesn't answer your ??, just my 2 cents.

I've had no problems with the new one.. faster response and all apps working with no freezing up or bugs..

the new one SEEMS a little faster, but i dont think there is much difference at all. If yours is working fine now, i wouldnt even bother

Service repair will cover devices with OEM rom.

no issues here i like it more especially with my gps that locks in within seconds and get twice as many sats. locked on.

I'm running a custom dHarvey rom on the same Sprint Rom you are and I am sticking with it. No problems at all. I don't want to take any chances!

If I wanted to install official rom and already have another rom upgrade on here how do i do it i have tried and always get an error saing that the device is not connected please help
