no vibrate or sound with text messages
 

Whenever i restart my phone if i get a text message or voicemail it doesn't vibrate or ring. I have to manually go into the sound and notifications option and check mark them back. Then if i restart my phone all the check boxes for the voicemail and text messages are unchecked again ](*,).

Can someone please help me

Yes i do, it kind of started happening right about the time i installed that

Damn it i just found this about opera mobile 9.5: "disables all SMS notifications (sound, vibrate, popup message, etc) after installation and also everytime it is launched"
Is there a fix for this?

there's your problem. if youre using the Mobile 9.5 Beta it disables all of your notifications. this is listed as a known problem on the Opera forums and they're working on it. there's not a fix yet but there is a registry work around on the forums over there. or you could what i do and just not use it until they fix

my work computer is blocking access to my.opera but i'll post the link for the work around later tonight

There is a small price to pay for being on the cutting edge of technology! Usually I just gotta have the latest toys, but I couldn't deal with that!!!

I hear what you're saying man. Missed a couple important messages. Time to uninstall for now. Skyfire is working great anyways with flash
