What's the Problem
 

This started today. My phone is REALLY sluggish. It takes a very long time to boot after a soft reset. It's annoying, and it just started, absolutely no changes have been made no new software loaded (cause I have been at work).

I had the same problem. It just got worse until it wouldn't boot at all.

I did a hard re-set and then a Restore using Sprite Back up and now it's performing as fast as it used to be with all programs intact.

yea I am doing that, but since I am doing it, I am just gonna load the ROM that is out there on HTC's website.

I loaded the ROM that was on HTC's website, fixed the problems.
Would like to know what was the root cause of the problem though, but I may never know.

Microsoft Windows is the problem. Hard reset is the solution.

Just like any other MS product... and the funny thing is I wouldn't run anything else for work.
