rom? OS? hard/soft reset?
 

I see these terms being used by everyone, but I'm not quite sure I know what they mean. I cant find any definitions here on the website. I just purchased my phone today so I'm looking learn all this stuff. So for starters..... It seems as though everyone is chatting about a new OS WM6.1, is this something i should upgrade right now? what about ROM (I don't even really know what that is) do i need to upgrade this as well? I would also like to know how to soft/hard reset my phone and when i should perform these tasks.

You first need to read all the sticky's and faq's in the Vogue Upgrade forum. If there are words you don't understand, you can easily google them for their definition. Your manual explains what an OS (Operating System), and hard/soft resets. Give everything you have here at your disposal (including your manual) a good read, and then ask whatever question you might have in the appropriate thread.
