Dangers of installing NEW Rom?

Does anybody know of any dangers to upgrading to the new rom from a custom rom and a unlocked phone using COKE UNLOCKER?

You might soil yourself from all the excitement! LOL My guess would be the unlucky one with a bad cable or accidentally pulls the cord out of the phone during a flash. I would like to know as well if any.

I was hoping that sprint would not have some code that would brick or block the update if it finds the COKE UNLOCKED code on the phone. I was thinking that they would not because they "leaked" (more like beta tested with out the responsibility of paying for bricked phones) the other roms. Just a hope.

From my experience, You can't really brick a phone by installing a ROM. Even if you install a ROM and the phone doesn't boot, you can always reset into bootloader mode (power+camera+reset button) and then proceed to flash another ROM.

But to answer your question...Sprint has no such code and I doubt they ever will.
