HTC Touch Problem

Hey guys i have the HTC Touch for Sprint and usually when I get a text it will vibrate or ring and a notification will pop up but for some reason today it stopped working. I have no idea what happened so if you have any ideas they are greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Nate

Have you checked in sounds and notifications?
start>settings>sounds and notifications (make sure Programs and Notifications are checked)>click on notifications tab on page bottom> In drop down named Event go to "messaging: New text message ,click on it Make sure Play sound is checked check vibrate and display message in drop down box next to play sound pick ring you want.

Did you recently DL and install the new Opera 9.5 BETA? A known issue is that it turns off notifications every time you use it. Its a great browser, but I'd delete it till it gets fixed.

There is a workaround for it that allows you to keep the program, but only if you feel comfortable with registry tweaks.
