Programs not showing up in Program list

I have many programs on my Touch on both the device and SD card that are not in the Program list under Start/Programs. Any tips on how to get them into the Program list?

If you installed them with either an exe or cab file they should show up - but if not, you can add them by copying the exe file and then pasting a shortcut in windows > start menu > programs. You can also delete shortcuts from the program list the same way.
