Alltel is releasing another update? They were the first one's out with Rev A. GPS wasn't enabled but the radio supported it...

well I read online that Alltel promised customers they would release an update for WM6.1.

I was under the impression that the Rev A update was still WM6.0

Oh ok, yes it is only 6.0. Hopefully they upgrade the radio for better GPS too.

when i called last they had no idea when winmo 6.1 would be out..... I HATE ALLTEL FOR THEIR UPDATES!!!

HAHA i talked to tech support last wek and asked about the 6.1 update. and the tech told me that has soon has microsoft released it, then alltel would release it. I didnt want to tell him i already had it on my phone, because has we all know that voids warrenty.

Also I then asked about future ppc coming out, and he said he had heard some rumors around the office about the HTC diamond. and he said that alltel was going to have it, right after sprint.

Microsoft has released 6.1 tho, how would he not already know that... those tech support people are douches

Talked to an Alltel ATS rep yesterday and he said it is still in testing. He also told me that Alltel wouldn't release it until they worked out all the bugs. I think it's a bunch of BS! He said they are keeping it hush. I can't quite understand what the big secret is...

The real secret is that they don't want to release it and try to get ahold of the diamond to make more money.
