Reception Problems

I seem to be having reception problems on my phone. Basically I am using the Rev A stock Alltel ROM and it sucks. I just got the phone so I have nothing to compare it to. We live in the stix's so reception on my razr wasn't great, but it would hold calls.

When I go into ##DEBUG my reading are bouncing all over the place, one second its at -88 and the next -102, when I do the same on my Razr I don't have that problem.

Are there any tweaks or edits I can do to improve this. I also have a cell booster at my work (Steel building) and it does the same thing goes from -67 to -99 at times.

THanks,
Ben

Re: Reception Problems

I have Alltel and the latest Rev is great Do you have the Radio Version 03.37.20 and ROM 3.35.671.9 If so maybe you can *228 and then select 3 when the lady starts talking to make sure your phone has the latest system update. I llive in the city so I am unsure how many towers are located near you but I bet that makes a difference as to why I have minimal problems

Re: Reception Problems

well it seems to be a little better today. So I don't know, alltel support can't really help me if its not currently doing it and the smartphone guys are only there until 9pm
