Random issue on Touch

I have had this happen twice in the last week. My phone randomly goes to the screen where I have to enter a password to unlock the phone, but I don't have a password set and have never used this feature. The only fix is a soft reset. This just started happening recently. Weird. I am running the stock OEM rom with no upgrades. Any thoughts.

This is a tough one.. Haven't used the stock OEM rom since I first bought the phone.. The only thing I would recommend (which I'm sure you might have already checked) is under Settings->Lock uncheck the "Prompt if device unsued for xxx minutes" box. If not that, did you install any other locking programs that might have conflicted something? (S2U2, iLock, or sonthing else?)

Yeah, I checked the settings and it is fine. I do have S2U2 installed, but I have had it awhile and it has never happened. Both times, I heard a little chirp from the phone (an alert I guess) and I picked up the phone to check and it had gone into the locked mode. I believe it was in standby mode both time. Weird. I have a handful of other problems as well, but I have seen other posts on most of them, but this one is new and strange and random...but aren't they all.

Mine does this too, has anyone else experienced or fixed this?

The only other thing I can think of here is if you are syncronizing your devices with an email server that requires a password.. Everytime your device tries to sync, it will prompt for the password.. This has got to be it, because I can't think of any other reason your devices would do this.
