tweak my internet speed ?
 

is there any way to increase the speed of the internet on my sprint htc touch, i notice it lags at times. today for some reason internet explorer wont connect to many sites and pictures don't load completely. :disgust:

not sure if it's a bug or what ?

my guess is a network issue. the only tweak I know of, is changing your dns server setting. I don't do this, so you'll have to search for where/what that setting is.

create a new connection, name it what you want, I named mine Sprint2fast.......enter the #777, then next, advanced, servers tab at the bottom, then Use specific server address:

DNS: 208.67.222.222
Alt DNS: 208.67.220.220

then "ok" out of the program.............when connecting, if you get the prompt for password, just check the box that says to remember it

I guess it could be a network issue, but I've never had good success using PIE.......Skyfire is the best, then Opera Mini.

No luck with Opera or Mini either. All works fine connected to my PC via acivesync so I'm guessing network too???

it's still not working right as of this morning. can't find or load web pages. i know opera and handmark express work fine. im going to call sprint if it persists today. this just happened out of the blue for no reason. ](*,)

i have been having this problem with my sprint touch too....has anyone called to report the issue? I am sure the rep will have no idea what to do. I hope it resolves itself because this is getting really frustrating....

its weird, because my girlfriend's centro (sprint also) works and connects to the internet fine...no problems...

This is also a post about this issue in the titan section....has to be a network thing....

either it's a network problem or its a bug with the leaked sprint 6.1 rom. i don't understand how my opera or pocket express works though ?

it has to be on sprints end, there are alot of people experiencing this apparently.

its not just IE for me, skyfire can't find a connection to logon and opera loads a bit better but is very slow....
