Syncing to computer
 

I can not get my touch to synce to my computer. I have never had this problem. I restarted my phone and nothing. Im going to restart the computer once the WMDC 6.1 finishes downloading. Any Ideas??

Are you getting any response from your pc? Does it recognize the device? What ROM are you using?

This is an ongoing problem with WMDC/Vista/PPC's. There's quite a few threads dealing with this issue. Do a search and you'll find all kinds of information tha may help. However, don't be surprised if you can't get your device to sync, in spite of all the help. I've been dealing with this issue for nearly a year, and have yet to successfully sync my 700WX ](*,). A good work around is to use a backup program (e.g. Sprite, SPB Backup, or Resco Backup) in conjunction with DashWire.

see my post on other thread. i got it to finally work on vista pc. seemed to crap out on a usb hub and it liked allowing to auto sync at least one thing. had to unistall/reinstall a few times before i got it work.

Sometimes i have an issue with active sync not wanting to sync my mogul...any suggestions?

So this issue was weird. Im using the Unofficial Sprint 6.1 rom. It would show on my phone that it was plugged in, but wouldnt show on the computer. I couldnt get the 6.1 WMDC to load either because of some issue with outlook. Well i decided to change the usb port i was using and the problem fixed it self. Weird.
