Missed calls HTC touch for sprint
 

Anybody else experience this? I get tons of missed calls, when i press the button on the top to turn the screen on it rings once and then it says "missed call"... and the time it gives for the missed call is the current time (lets say i check my phone at 3pm it says i missed the call at 3pm, even though someone called me like an hour before)
Any advice on how to fix this? its annoying as hell!!

I had the same problem, I bought the Palm Treo 800W to solve it. Wish I had better advise for you. Not trying to be smart, but I got tired of dealing with it so got the new Treo.

same problem here but i have verizon...phone will be in my pocket and i go to check the time and have a missed call from 2 minutes ago and never knew it...thought i was crazy and some how missed it but it sounds like an issue for both services

i also have been experiencing the same problem only with verizon... took it to the service rep.. said it's a problem they've been having with the phone and that i could receive a new phone free of charge.. i'd take it into sprint if i were you and talk to thtem

i think this works but im not 100% sure. go to start/settings/personal/today/items uncheck today timeout . hope it helps

This is a known issue with Sprint, the new software that should be available next week with REV. A and GPS, with WM6.1 should have a fix embedded with it.

To download the new software when it comes out go to www.sprint.com/downloads.
Check daily, the target date was the 14th, but I haven't seen anything lately even in the new Sprint Playbook for retailers.

HTC Touch's price is dropping very low next week too, so if you any friends that want one on Sprint's network tell them to get ready to spend $150 less.

jayppc- thanks dude i'll try that out... if that doesnt work, i'll dl the new software drake posted

and if none of that works, im gona make sprint give me a new phone, cuz ive only had this for 3 months.. and ive had 5 missed calls today alone.. this is ridiculous

I had a similar issue related to power management by S2U2. Modifications noted there work fine.

Now, with S2U2 installed and running; some times when I unlock the phone, it will take input for 1 second out of 10 until I soft reset.

I'm not really sure what's causing this; but don't believe it something like system resources.

You can but only through the repair program, which if you have ESRP or TEP insurance it's free. Do a hard reset, it fixes it for a little bit. I have the same problem and replacing the phone does not always fix the issue. I've seen one person go through three phones already. The software is on the way, keep a eye on that site.
