Activsync was working...
But now it isn't. Yesterday I connected using Internet sharing. Since then I have not been able to activsync my xv6900. The pc recognizes the usb connection with it's audible tone but does not open activsync. I have the USB to PC Connection setting unchecked. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Mobile Device Center.

Did you delete the partnership in activesync on the phone?

Found it...in activsync/menu/connections the usb was uncheked....thanks for your response.

I'm actually having that problem... I hear a sound, then all A.S. does is spin
in the system tray. It worked fine a couple weeks ago... I dont know whats causing this. Everthing that should be checked is, and vice versa... Any help is appreciated! |

Sometimes if it won't recognize the phone as a connection or not syncing, re-installing Active Sync works like a charm.

Is it Active Sync 4.5? Try a soft reset on your device, and try that again.
And if that don't work, go to www.dashwire.com and download it to your phone to back up your contacts and such then do a hard reset (hold talk and end key while hitting reset button. And if that dosn't work you have a hardware error somewhere. |

My problem with active sync is: It installs...connects....works great! Until I shut my pc down. When I restart my pc...it (the pc) won't connect to the internet. I have to perform a "restore" on the pc to a time before I installed active sync. Once the pc restarts...all is well. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

Sounds like your computer has issues, that is a crazy error
