Flashing a rom - assistance please
 

Hi all. I am a newbie and when I got my Touch a few weeks ago I flashed the unofficial Sprint Rom 3.02.651.2 build 19208.1.0.1. I found a great post on the steps to take to flash the rom and learned that I did not have to use the ImCoKeMan unlocker because I have a Sprint Vogue. Now I want to flash DHarvey's rom and I can't find the post I used to do the first flash, so I need someone to give the steps or confirm that all I need to do is create a back up (in case) and then just sync my phone and PC and run the exe file. When it's done do a hard reset (which is the power camera and soft reset buttons) all at the same time. Do I have this right?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

so long as you have a non oem rom then you should be fine...i would suggest with using a differnt based rom using an unlocker first then install the new rom

So just to be clear, should I do the unlocker, then flash the unofficial Sprint rom and THEN flash DHarvey's rom?

Sorry for the dumb questions. I did find a tutorial on flashing though

You flashed the Official 6.1 Release correct? And you have the 3.42 Radio?

If so then backup, unlock with coke 2.30(I believe) and then flash Dharvey's rom. (It amazing btw, you'll love it, it's what I currently have on my phone right now and I'm about to flash his latest version, RC3).

Also after you've flashed, if you need help finding your unlock code to change your RevA(enabled or disabled) option lemme know. I couldn't find a single "to the point" explanation of how till I did a few google searches, its amazingly easy.
