Opera as default browser???
 

Trying to figure out how to make Opera my default browser when clicking links in emails.. cant seem to figure it out.. ?? :???:

Any insight would greatly be appreciated...

you have to edit these registry keys.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: DEFBROWSER
"0"="Opera Browser"
"1"="\"\\Windows\\OperaL.exe\""


that should do it for you.

Not working for me.... :???: Do I need to put all the quotes in as you have it typed???

Says the DEFBROWSER can not be opened.

the OperaL.exe is in the windows dir ...

I'm getting the same error. Opera was default, but when I installed the newest build, somehow it was set back to PIE. :(

opera browser no quotes. use quotes on on "Windows\OperaL.exe"

the build 1409 does not set as default, or aleast it did not for me.
wait a few mins.
and soft reset.
im using PHM reg editor

anyone have any suggestions if I'm using opera mini as my browser?
I don't like normal opera mobile.

Do a search for default browser opera mini, there is a cab floating around here or on XDA's website that will set mini as your default browser.
