XV6900 thinks it's roaming

Did the upgrades on my phone and now have radio 3.42.30 and Ludesters ROM (thanks Ludester) but now my phone thinks it's roaming. From what I understand VZ doesn't bill for romaing so this may be more of a nusance than anything else. But is there anyway to fix this so the phone doens't think it's roaming?

thanks

Check your PRL version (Settings-System-Device Information). I had this problem on Sprint once it turned out to be an outdated PRL (all the way from 2004 lol), happened after I ran PPST.

I'm not saying it is this, it could be something else too, this is just what I can think of for now.

BTW all PRL files are here http://corolada.com/prl/ so check what you have.

Thanks, it shows 51056. I checked the link you posted and that PRL is not listed there. I would think dialing *228 and pressing 1 or 2 would update it to the correct PRL but no dice.

I think you have the latest PRL already (since the 51020 is from 03/20/2008, and the version only goes up), so it must be something else then, I don't know what it could be. Lol sorry I wasn't much help ](*,), I gave it a shot.

No you pointed me in the right direction and I learned a few things in the process. Much appreciated.

I spoke to VZW Customer Service and all my settings are correct (NAM,PRL,SID,NID). I'm sure there are other things I should be looking at...???

Sounds like u ran ppst or let the SPCS customizations run now your PRI is jacked. U need to run radio refurbish.

Thanks Nex, is there anyplace I can get a radio refurbish without replacing the entire ROM? I'm quite happy with all the settings I have and would hate to have to reload everything.

It's 2.03, how f***cked am I? Or does that mean I have to rebuild from a stock vz ROM?
