Water between screens.
Well I was seating by the pool and got splashed by the kids a couple of times. My Touch was in my pocket the whole time, but after we were done, I looked at the touch and it seems to have a bit of distortion right in the middle of the screen like someone had placed a drop of water between to pieces of glass.
It has been this way for a couple of weeks now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of the distortion. When I press in the center of the screen it goes away but comes right back as soon as remove the pressure off the screen. Thank you. |
Re: Water between screens.
This is the steps to take it a part. Hope that helps.

Re: Water between screens.
I know I'm new here and don't mean to speak out of turn, but before I tried dis assembly I would try submerging in a container of rice for a couple days. Just might do the trick.

Re: Water between screens.
I dropped mine in the toilet. Had it under the towel and when I grabbed the towel it fell in. I took the battery out and shook the hell out of both unit and batt. Then put it in a ziplock back of rice for 2 days. I've had no problems in over a month....
