Shipped Rom FULL QWERTY CAB File?

The FULL QWERTY keyboard that comes with the recent "shipped" Sprint rom seems to be considerably faster in contrast to the HTC Diamond keyboard cab that has been floating around.

Does anyone know the whereabouts of this cab file? I'd like to run this on my own cooked ROM.

If you are cooking your own ROM, then it would probably be easier to request the OEM package.

I would like it as well if the performance gains are true! The keyboard has always seemed slightly laggy to me.

You might try incorporating this into your rom and delete the duplicate DLL's from the OEM instead of deleting the duplicates out of the rom....

OEM_HTC_Diamond_QWERTY..........................HTC Diamond QWERTY Keyboard

Personally, I have deleted the files from the ROM with no issues.

Curious...What are you using as a patch folder? Just curious as to what that is... :)

I'll have to get home to check the actual edit but...

The PatchDir is a hardcoded path in your project file that imports anything you have in it into the build without any questions asked. It will be the last folder it copies in right before the actual ROM building part.

It is a little tidbit colonel told me a while back in the IRC. It is awesome for certain DLLs and whatnot.

Add the following line to your saved project file:
PatchDir=C:\Program Files\ppckitchen.org\buildos\Patches

You can have the location in any folder, but I just made it easy on myself and put it w/ BuildOS.

Patches are copied in after the kitchen rars and the user_oem packages are read, but right before it starts building the registry.

Very neat. Didn't know about the PatchDir.

Thanks for passing that tip along :)
