where to get 8G micro sd for Touch
 

Hi I'm looking for some microsd...
Where can i get 8G ones which are compatible with teh Touch? Are they all the same? Is there a special brand i need to look for?

Does the Vogue need the drivers? I'm using a 4gig sdhc card with out them.

I thought i saw Patriot ones for $26~ are they good enough?


Yeah Im also wondering about the drivers... is it because its HC that the Vogue/Touch will not recognize them?

i'm also interested if someone can confirm using an 8GB SDHC card on the Touch, and if so, which drivers need to be used.

I can confirm that an 8gb sdhc is working in my phone. I didnt install any drivers, didnt know about them. I got mine from ebay and I recommend getting sandisk, I have had trouble from other brands. I think the biggest they make right now is 16gb. Hope this helps.

There are 8GB Sandisk's all over Amazon for ~$35.

8GB SDHC is fine, no drivers required. Works just fine.

I have been using a 8 Gb SDHC microSD (Sandisk) for over 6 months on my touch.

I did have issues every 3-4 weeks of corruption - but that has been solved by using an updated ROM from the kitchen....no issues since I upgraded.

I keep looking every day for that 16 GB one that is soon too launch...
