Based on the responses, I guess there is know way of getting the sprint voicemail cab. I was referring to the standard voicemail that is available as an option on the Today screen with the standard sprint rom and some of the customs that included it. Not the visual or speech to text .

Ok, sorry, I assumed that you meant the vis voicemail. As for the original voicemail, I'm not 100% sure whether it has to be included with the rom for it to work, or if it can be added after. First of all, make sure it's not an Item that can be added from the Settings - Today - Items list. If it is in there, then just check it to add it to the today screen... if not then follow below.

Can you check a few things for me?

1. Check to see if you have the file SPCSPlugin_Voicemail.dll in the windows directory of your ppc.

2. Check if you have the folder "Voicemail" (including the quotes) in the registry of your ppc.

It should be in:
HKEY_LOCAL MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\"Voicemail"

I do not have the file SPCSPlugin_Voicemail.dll nor do i have the registry entry

hmm is there an apt that could answer a call, play the caller a msg to hold, 3way call to youmail voicemail, all while the phone is muted? that would rock nad be free

Thanks for your help I installed it but it does not work. It shows up on the Today screen and the entry is there in the registry bit IT does not dial voice mail when I click on it.

It does show the number of voicemails but if I tap on it it does not dial voicemail. I know this worked in the stock rom amd in omj's

I know there is an app that acts as an answering machine, personalized messages too i think. When I get back to my pc Ill look for it.
