S2U2 Buggy for You?
 

I have been trying out S2U2 1.05 for the first time. While I really like its functionality and features, its been more buggy than is comfortable for me. There have been several occasions when it locks up and renders the phone useless until it is soft reset. It also seems to slow everything down. Anyone else have a different experience?

i had the same problem so went back to 1.03 and it works awesome

1.05 works great for me. No lock ups. I'm running new sprint rom.

That's funny because I had the opposite experience 1.03 caused my Telus Touch to do strange things including lockups but I have been using 1.05 with no problems detected so far for about 3 weeks.

how do i apply new s2u2 themes?
I installed the .cab but cant an option to apply it

i have been using s2u2 and every time some one calls it doesnt wake up to show me when ever i wake it up it rings and gives me a missed call any one lese have this problem

S2U2 has given me problems with slowing my phone down big time at some points, but most of the time it works perfect, this is on 3.03 Sprint with 1.05

The only problem I have is I can't pull up the cube when the screen is locked (S2U2 screen is up). There is a registry fix for this listed in the FAQ in the xda-developers thread for S2U2, but it made no difference for me. I had this working before with version .9x and Polen's Vista Cube 2.0, but now I have S2U2 1.05 and Polen's original vista cube and it doesn't work. :confused:

1.05 fixed the issue so it didn't happen, or I think it depends apon the ROM your using

I've been using this ROM for the last couple of weeks, it includes S2U2 and it runs like a charm!

Another strange problem: tf I have a voicemail count, the phone will take input for one out of ten seconds.

I've had no issues w/v1.05. The only thing I would like to see is they shrink the battery.png and place that on top of your wallpaper so you don't lose your look...

Hmm, I didn't change ROMs, but I did do a hard reset after I irrepairably screwed things up by switching back and forth between cube sets too many times.

for me the s2su v 1.5 is totall screw up.when i slide the unlock buttom, it will not move.

Mine works great I also would like the battery thing to be an option. I would rather see my cool gif than the batery charging. It really shows when I have it in the cradle at work.

im havins issues as well, when someone calls me i get the caller id page but i also get the small ugly default caller bubble on top of that

what gives????

I sometimes can't answer a call, but disabling the slide2answer seems to fix (not sure just yet) but also disable s2a Answer key and s2a End key.

also there are a couple of threads here that some are working on customizations and themes...All S2U2 customizations

that's because you don't have a picture assigned to that contact.

the default CID pic is located in the gfx folder and called unknown.png
you should be able to just delete(rename) that.

i think you misunderstood my friend , i mean that the caller id feature doesnt fully take over the screen i still get the stock call window on top of the s2u2 incoming call screen

ok, gotcha, haven't seen that (for a while at least)

also I wanted to 2nd RStoyguy's frustration with the charge battery having a blacked out background, and wish it would go over the top of your current s2u2 background image.

Haha, wow. I was wondering why my phone was acting slow all day and freezing up. So I then remembered the only app I added or changed was S2U2 v1.05... so I uninstall it... and everything's good. Funny.
