yeah.... viberates for about a second... makes dialing more difficult. i read through the whole post and didn't see anything about shortening the lenth of the pulse. ended up uninstalling the program. good work though.

anything about the pulsing when texting? freeware about pulsing when texting?

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

Mine will stay vibrating for the whenever I hold my finger down, but when I just tap the key, it vibrates about a second. I just reloaded the .cab file. I can't think of what would cause mine to last longer. I did do a reigstry edit to change the screen sensitivity. I'll change it back and see if that does anything.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

Anybody have the registry keys to set the keypads tones back to default dtmf tones? After I unistalled the cab, the tones have either totally disappeared or sometimes random keys emit a weird beep which is standard for all keys unlike the original, where each key had a different tone when pressed.
If someone could post the original values for the dtmf tones in the Registry, I'd be most grateful.
Thanks

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

POSSIBLE SOLUTION?? Guys, checkout: settings -> sounds & notifications There's a setting for audio feedback whenever the screen is tapped. Couldn't we map that to vibrate the same way the dailtones are? googogogogo!

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

yea yea it would be great to have vibration as a type of feedback for screen taps, unfortunately there is no obvious reg key for that event. Even trickier is finding the sound file that is played on the screentap event. I really don't think it is hwandsw.wav as many people have said, and if it is then there's no record of it in the reg so there's no way to change it. When I play that wav file it sounds nothing like the screentap sound.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

it works if someone could edit it so it would work everytime you tap..right now it work like every other time or if you hold you finger down for a long time.

Re: Vibration during touch screen interaction

just tried the exe file-
pretty much vibrates every time you touch the screen

i tried typing stuff and if you tap about once/half sec it works ok, but typing any faster or holding down on the screen is kinda wonky

and it's really weird having it vibrate when i'm scrolling... or tapping my d-pad

for me, i'm just going to stick with the dialer vibration.

I will try it. I have no problem removing my SDHC card for a while to test the executable. I will copy it to main memory and test it out without the card in the phone.

I will report back here later.
