Are there any media players that can display album art that has been embedded into the mp3?

It looks like some work, but some don't. While it has been updated from the last time and more embedded art is working, there are still a few that are missing.

Flipside (I think it's called) does displays art as well and goes and gets it for you from the web it you don't have it. Kind of a cool feature. But is is not free like S2P and I did not like it very much. Here's a link to their website http://www.electricpocket.com/flipside/
